MADISON GRAIE
Actor/Producer
Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Madison Graie went to the University of Victoria, and graduated with honors. After working the stage, she turned her eye to the medium of film and television. Getting her start on *The Commish* with Michael Chiklis, Madison has been seen on such television shows such as *Psych*, *Reunion* and *The L Word*. Ms. Graie is also no stranger to the ‘Movie of the Week’ and you can see her every Christmas, starring with Mimi Rodgers in *A Christmas List* and again alongside Linda Hamilton in *Home By Christmas*.
It wasn’t long before she founded her own film production company Windowshot Productions Inc. and along with Colin Cunningham quickly began to establish herself as more than just another actor. Having produced numerous projects, short films and stage productions, Madison soon began winning awards for her music videos. Producing for artists such as Sean Hogan on Country Music Television (CMT), earned Madison a Best Country Music Video Award at the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards, three CMT ‘Top Ten’ commendations and numerous ‘Top 40’s’.
She also gained acclaim for her multiple talents on the indie cult favorite *ZACHARIA* (aka *Zacharia Farted*) having starred and produced as well as served as the film’s Casting Director. Madison Graie has continuously proven herself as one of the hardest working industry professionals in town. Today *Zacharia* is still regarded as a shining example of what can be accomplished on a shoe string. The film was awarded 4 ‘AUDIENCE FAVORITE’ AWARDS and 5 LEO NOMINATIONS including Best Picture.
But lately, it is *CENTIGRADE* that has been taking up the biggest part of her day. The film has so far qualified for an Academy Award nomination by winning BEST SHORT at Cinequest, picked up 5 LEO AWARDS - British Columbia Film Awards (including BEST SHORT) and well over a dozen ‘Best Of’ nominations. Currently, she is in development of *Centigrade: The Feature* which is slated to shoot in 2009.
